Easy Choc Cake
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 6 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1/2 cup shortening, melted
- 1 cup buttermilk or sour milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl.
- Add the remaining ingredients in the order given and stir until well blended.
- Bake in a moderate oven.
