Fresh Strawberry Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 pint fresh strawberries
  • 1 (3-ounce) package jelly powder
  • 1 baked 8-inch pie shell
  • whipped cream, as needed
  • sugar, to taste

Directions

  1. Cut up the strawberries, add sugar to taste, and set aside.
  2. Dissolve the jelly powder according to its directions and chill until slightly thickened.
  3. Line the baked shell with strawberries, pour the jelly over them, and chill until firm.
  4. Top with whipped cream and the remaining strawberries; serve cold.

1 pint fresh strawberries
1 pkg. (3 oz) jelly powder
1 baked 8 inch pie shell

Cut strawberries up, add sugar to taste then set aside. Dissolve Jelly powder according to directions. Chill until slightly thickened. Line baked shell with strawberries, pour Jelly on strawberries. Chill until firm. top with whipped Cream. put leftover strawberries on top & serve cold.
