My Sister's Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup flour
Directions
- Roll into balls and flatten with a fork.
- Bake at 350°F for 12 to 15 minutes.
