Popycock
Ingredients
- 5 1/3 quarts popcorn
- 1/2 package almonds
- 2 packages pecans
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- dash salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Directions
- Boil the sugar, margarine, corn syrup, and salt for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes.
- Add baking soda, stir until frothy, and pour over the popcorn and nuts.
- Spread on a cookie sheet and bake at 275°F for 20 minutes.
