Pumpkin Squares

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 small can pumpkin
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup icing sugar

Directions

  1. Beat the ingredients together in the order given.
  2. Spread into a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  3. Place a cookie sheet under the pan with batter to prevent the bottom from burning.
  4. Whip the topping ingredients together, spread over the cooked cake, and cut into squares.

2 tsp B. powder
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1 small can pumpkin
4 oz. cr. cheese
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 c butter
1 c icing sugar
Beat ingredients together in order given
